Hello,
I originally learned to crochet when I was in elementary school. My grandmother gave me my first crochet hook and the lessons I needed to get started. However, my yarn and hook quickly fell to the wayside. Fast forward a decade or so. Now an elementary school teacher, I turned back to these tools when I was inspired to create a handmade Christmas gift for each of my students. I immediately fell in love with the therapeutic nature of the craft, the delight in completing something lovingly made, and of course the immersion of oneself in yarn.
Since then, I have become a yarn hoarder, a hook collector, and a pattern browser content to spend my time stitching towards sanity in a busy, noisy world. What began as a hobby has turned into a passion. As I continue to create and become inspired by the countless other crocheters out there, I hope to share and return some of that inspiration back into the crafting community.
